Q1. Why do YOU need to attend this conference?

A1-1: There are fantastic opportunities to publish in leading SSCI journals in the fast-track. At least 20 full papers submitted to this conference will be selected as “Outstanding Full Paper” of the Conference (OFP) at the closing ceremony on 1 Nov 2026. Those 20 papers will be published by 31 December 2026.

  • Notice of acceptance: by 30 September 2026
  • Deadline for early registration: by 10 October 2026
  • Early bird for students: 250 US Dollars (By 10 October 2026)

  • Early bird for non-student general delegates: 350 US Dollars (By 10 October 2026)

  • Deadline for submission of abstracts (in 300 words): by/before 10 October 2026

What does the registration fee cover?
It includes all of conference proceedings, access to full academic sessions, three lunches, and the gala dinner.

Q3. I am not good in English, and I wish to make a presentation in Chinese language. Is there any session I can present in Chinese?

A. Don’t worry. Although most of presentations in this conference are be in English, there is a “Chinese Session”, where presenters and discussants will speak only Chinese. If you are to present a Chinese paper, you need to submit 300-word Chinese abstract to Glosith2026conference@outlook.com by 18 October 2026. Three Outstanding Chinese papers will be selected at the gala dinner and be published in Tourism Science (旅游科学) in three months.

Q4. Is it possible for me to present one English paper and another Chinese paper?

A. Yes, it is possible. You only need to pay one registration fee in this case.

Q5. If I present a paper online at the conference, is my paper still eligible to be selected as one of the “Outstanding Full Paper (OFP)”?

A. Yes, as long as you submit a full paper to the conference email address Glosith2026conference@outlook.com by 10 October 2026.

Q6. If I present my paper only in the poster session, is my paper still eligible to be selected as one of the “Outstanding Full Paper (OFP)”?

A. Yes, as long as you submit a full paper to the conference email address Glosith2026conference@outlook.com by 10 October 2026.

Q7. If my paper is not selected as a “Outstanding Full Paper (OFP)” by 1 Nov., what would happen to my full paper?

A. First, I hope your paper will be selected as one of the OFP at the conference gala dinner. But even if your paper is not selected as one of the OFP, all full papers submitted to this conference will be reviewed in the fast track by the International Journal of Tourism Research (IJTR) reviewers. But the authors need to submit full paper.

Q8. What is the procedure on submitting abstract and full paper to this conference?

A8-1: If you only want to have your abstract (without submitting a full paper to contend an OFP) published in the conference program and proceedings, please just submit only 300-word abstract to Glosith2026conference@outlook.com by 25 September (if you attend in person), or 10 October (if you attend online or by poster presentation).

A8-2: If you want to have your paper be selected as one of the “Outstanding Full Paper” (OFP) of the conference, you have to submit a full paper to Glosith2026conference@outlook.com by 10 October 2026. In this case, the title of your 300-word abstract and the full paper have to be identical.

Q9. Do I have to make a poster myself to bring to the conference if I want a poster presentation?

A. No, the conference organizer will make a high-quality color poster and will display it in a professional display set for you. You only need to send the poster contents to Glosith2026conference@outlook.com by 10 October 2026.

Q10. What is the maximum word count for an abstract and a full paper?

A10-1: 300 words in maximum including 3 to 5 keywords. No table, No figure, No references, please.

A10-2: 9,000 words in maximum including abstract, tables, figures, and references. Please find and strictly follow the format in the example of abstract and full paper, which are separately attached.
